1) Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) - 4 Years
2) Overseas institutions accredited by the respective country's organisations - 3-4 Years

Studying Dietetics in the UK

The earliest dietary observations in hospitals go back to St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1687. However dietetics really started from the middle of the nineteenth century when Florence Nightingale observed the importance of diet and nutrition to convalescence from the wars at that time. The British Dietetics Association's very first meeting was held on 24 January 1936 at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Since then the BDA has grown into an internationally respected and valued organisation with influence in all four UK countries as well as overseas.

Studying in the UK is more affordable than most people think. The 2020/2021 tuition fee for a BSc (Hons) Dietetics ranges from £12,000 (approx. SGD 21,750) to £18,655 (approx. SGD 33,797 per year and the duration is 3 - 4 years. Minimum entry requirements are A-Level or Polytechnic Diploma.
